Gemstone Technology Park is a planned data center in Kuna, ID, with Diode Ventures named as the developer. Diode Ventures is developing a 620-acre, up to five-building data center campus in southeast Kuna, Ada County. The Kuna City Council approved a rezone for the project on a 3-2 vote. Per Diode's own project page, the company is still finalizing plans for power, fiber, water, wastewater and traffic, and will fund all costs to interconnect to Idaho Power's system; estimated investment exceeds $1 billion with 800-1,200 construction jobs at peak.
