WhiteFiber (subsidiary Enovum Data Centers Corp), a private operator, has announced WhiteFiber NC-2 & NC-3 (Yadkin County), a data center project in Yadkin County, NC. Reported capacity is 60 MW. WhiteFiber (Bit Digital-backed AI cloud firm) agreed in August 2026 to acquire two former Unifi Manufacturing textile sites in Yadkin County, NC for $60 million (~120 acres, 500,000 sq ft combined), to retrofit into data center campuses NC-2 and NC-3. Combined minimum initial gross utility capacity is 60MW (30MW each), with potential to reach ~200MW combined over time; initial ready-for-service is targeted Q3 2027. The sites are about 55 miles from WhiteFiber's already-tracked, operating NC-1 campus in Madison, NC. Deal expected to close Q4 2026.
