Sussex Tech Data Center is a planned data center in Sussex County, VA, with Sussex Tech, LLC named as the developer. Sussex Tech LLC applied for a special use permit to build a data center on approximately 2,015 acres north of General Mahone Highway (Route 460), between the Town of Waverly and Cabin Point Road, spanning 14 tax parcels. Sussex County's Planning Commission held a public hearing on the application October 6, 2025; data centers are not otherwise a provided-for use in the county zoning ordinance.
