Developer Sentinel Data Centers (NY-based). Lake County Council approved rezoning from A1 (Agriculture) to M1 (Light Industrial) on June 9, 2026 despite organized opposition. Distinct from other already-tracked NW Indiana data centers (Hammond/Digital Crossroads, Wheatfield/AWS, La Porte/Microsoft).
