Project Swan (Ryan Companies) Lakeland data center, a data center project in Lakeland, FL associated with Ryan Companies U.S. Inc. (Unknown end user), has stalled. Kimley-Horn filed a concept plan on May 5, 2026 on behalf of Ryan Companies for three data center buildings totaling up to 600,000 sq ft plus a 3.8-acre substation on 60.5 acres owned by Holmes Beach Family Tides LLC (Joel Schachter). City staff said data centers are not a listed use in Lakeland's code and part of the site would need annexation from Polk County.
