Cielo Digital Infrastructure Haines City data center

Haines City, Polk County, FL

Work on Cielo Digital Infrastructure Haines City data center in Haines City, FL has stalled. Reported capacity is 300 MW. Texas-based Cielo Digital Infrastructure made a preliminary utility inquiry in mid-2026 for a large data center (Cleanview lists it at 300 MW) near Marion Road and SR 544 East, requesting up to 150,000 gallons of potable water per day. Haines City officials said the city lacks water capacity under its 2011 SWFWMD permit and the project is on hold pending a permit modification; no zoning or site plan application has been filed with the city commission.
