Project MidSpan (SDCL Tennessee Propco) Bradley County data center
Cleveland, Bradley County, TN
Project MidSpan (SDCL Tennessee Propco) Bradley County data center, a data center project in Cleveland, TN associated with SDCL Tennessee Propco LLC (Project MidSpan), has stalled. The facility is reported at 300 MW. Delaware/New York-based SDCL Tennessee Propco bought ~306 acres (April 2025, $19.9M) in the Hiwassee River Industrial Park for a data center with at least 300 MW available. Bradley County's April 20, 2026 zoning change (I-2 only, 3,000-ft setbacks) blocks the site, which is ~1,700 ft from Walker Valley High School. SDCL sued the county in Chancery Court on Sept 17, 2026; second major proposal in the county after Project River. (Source dated 2026-09-21.).
