Google The Dalles Data Center is an operating data center in The Dalles, OR, run by a hyperscale operator. Google's original custom-built data center campus, opened in 2006, with over $1.8 billion invested in Wasco County to date. A further $600 million, 290,000 sq ft expansion (contractor Whiting-Turner) received local approval to begin construction. Google is the largest taxpayer in Wasco County.
