AVAIO Digital Heartland Industrial Park Data Center
Plans have been filed for AVAIO Digital Heartland Industrial Park Data Center, a data center in Prince Edward County, VA. AVAIO Digital is under a purchase-and-sale agreement (approved by the county Jan 27, 2025) for 280 acres at 82/230 Kelly Lane in the Heartland Industrial Park near Farmville, valued at $12.2M, with projected operational investment of $800M-$2.4B depending on build type. The IDA extended the agreement by six months (to an 18-month term) in early 2026 to give Dominion Energy time to confirm a power-supply plan, expected by end of April 2026.
