Volition Industries Spanish Fork self-powered AI data center
Spanish Fork, Utah County, UT
Plans have been filed for Volition Industries Spanish Fork self-powered AI data center, a data center in Spanish Fork, UT. The project is sized at 250 MW with an estimated investment of $4 billion. Utah-based Volition Industries proposed (Aug 2026) a ~$4B, 250 MW (some reports 400 MW) off-grid AI data center powered by Bloom Energy fuel cells with closed-loop cooling. After hours of opposition testimony the city council tabled the Title 15 zoning amendments Aug 20, 2026, but on Sept 22, 2026 Spanish Fork passed the code amendment opening the door to the project; site-specific approvals still needed.
