Silicon Foundry Energy / Silicon Foundation Centre Foundry data center and energy technology campus (Warwood)
Wheeling, Ohio County, WV
Silicon Foundry Energy LLC (Silicon Foundation; TIF entity Boundary Energy LLC) plans Silicon Foundry Energy / Silicon Foundation Centre Foundry data center and energy technology campus (Warwood), a data center in Wheeling, WV. The project is sized at 100 MW. Announced June 23-24, 2026 as a three-phase modular data center and energy technology campus at the closed Centre Foundry in Warwood: Phase 1 a 10 MW modular data center with battery storage targeted for end of 2026, Phase 2 a 20-30 MW expansion, Phase 3 a ~100 MW regional compute hub. After heavy public opposition (July 8 hearing; a residents' civil suit), Wheeling City Council approved a binding MOU on Sept 15, 2026 (6-1) under which the company will stay below the 90 MW 'high-impact' threshold, keeping local jurisdiction, alongside a lower-Warwood TIF district. dcmap.us lists it as 'Silicon Foundation Centre Foundry Modular Data Center'.
