Converse County, WY
Plans have been filed for Prometheus Hyperscale Casper Data Center Campus, a data center in Converse County, WY. The project is sized at 1,500 MW. Prometheus Hyperscale, with Spiritus (on-site natural-gas power plus carbon capture, branded Orchard Power) and Casper Carbon Capture, is developing a liquid-cooled data center campus about 10 miles east of Casper, straddling Natrona and Converse counties, with data halls planned on the Converse County side and the workforce hub/power generation in Natrona County. The project targets up to 1.5GW of capacity in phases, with a minimum $500M initial investment, and developers are negotiating Community Benefit Agreements aiming for operation by 2028. Distinct from Prometheus Hyperscale's already-tracked Colorado sites (Pueblo, Fort Morgan).
