Prologis Shelbyville Data Center Complex

Plans have been filed for Prologis Shelbyville Data Center Complex, a data center in Shelbyville, IN. 429-acre, up to 11-building data center complex near the I-74/SR-44 interchange in Shelbyville, Shelby County. ~$2B investment, ~450 jobs projected, closed-loop water cooling claimed. Shelbyville Plan Commission recommended denial in January 2026 after a 5-hour hearing and a 2,000+ signature petition, but the City Council overrode that and approved annexation, rezoning, and an economic development agreement with Prologis on April 6-7, 2026 despite a 6,700+ signature 'Shelbyville Citizens Against Data Centers' petition.
