Under construction

phoenixNAP PHX02

Construction is under way on phoenixNAP PHX02 in Phoenix, AZ. The project is sized at 30 MW. phoenixNAP | Global IT Services is building a second Phoenix data center, PHX02, at 3221 E. Elwood St. in south Phoenix, across the street from its original 2010-built flagship facility. The 530,000 sq ft building will hold about 15,000 racks with an initial 30MW capacity (expandable to 50MW), powered in part by Bloom Energy fuel cells; phoenixNAP bought the 6.54-acre site in 2021 for $10.2M. A zoning adjustment time extension was granted in March 2026 and first-floor construction was targeted for completion by Q4 2026.
