Northland Data Centers (Osawatomie campus)
Osawatomie, Miami County, KS
A new data center, Northland Data Centers (Osawatomie campus), has been announced in Osawatomie, KS. Northland Data Centers is negotiating a development agreement with the City of Osawatomie (Miami County) for a ~115-acre data center campus on the city's northern edge, directly across from the Osawatomie State Hospital. City documents cite $900M-$1.1B in investment, 50-150MW of capacity, about 350 construction jobs and 60-90 permanent jobs ($70k-$130k), a land sale at $10,000/acre, and a 50% 10-year property tax abatement. As of Feb 18, 2026 the city council had not yet voted; the developer requested six months for due diligence. Some later secondary coverage refers to the project as 'Project Catalyst' and reports the site growing to 283 acres -- not confirmed via a primary source opened in this session.
