Milan bitcoin mining data center (Hughes Loop Road, rezoning) is an announced data center project in Milan, TN. A 15 MW bitcoin-mining data center is proposed on about 6 acres along Hughes Loop Road in the Milan area, which would need rezoning from agricultural to industrial; the Gibson County Commission has the final say. The site is about a quarter mile from a school, and residents cite noise of about 70 dB, round-the-clock water use and the power draw; one cites a local poll at 96% against (WBBJ, Oct 7, 2026).
