East Thistle Data Center
Phoenix, Maricopa County, AZ
East Thistle Data Center is a planned data center in Phoenix, AZ. Reported capacity is 257 MW. Menlo Equities plans to redevelop its largely vacant Thistle Landing office park in Phoenix's Ahwatukee neighborhood (SW corner of 50th St and Thistle Landing Dr, about 38 acres) into a five-building, 1-million-sq-ft data center and office/R&D campus called East Thistle Data Center, with an on-site substation providing up to 257MW of IT capacity. The Ahwatukee Foothills Village Planning Committee approved portions of the plan; as of March 2026 it still needed final Phoenix City Council approvals, utility agreements and permits, with design/engineering complete and powered-shell delivery targeted for late 2026. Neighbors have raised noise and water concerns at public meetings.
