Mason County Hyperscale Data Center Campus (undisclosed Fortune 100 developer)
Mason County, KY
Plans have been filed for Mason County Hyperscale Data Center Campus (undisclosed Fortune 100 developer), a data center in Mason County, KY. The project is sized at 1,200 MW. An anonymous developer (described as a Fortune 100 company) surveyed ~5,000 acres near Big Pond and Tuckahoe roads in Mason County for a campus reported at up to 2.2 GW on 2,500 acres; Mason County Fiscal Court discussed it Nov 12, 2025. It sits in East Kentucky Power Cooperative territory, whose PSC-approved data center tariff (Oct 2025) requires PSC-approved special contracts; capacity_mw = the 1.2 GW load cited in reporting on that tariff.
