Joule Energy and Data Center Campus
Holden, Millard County, UT
Joule Capital Partners, a private operator, is building Joule Energy and Data Center Campus in Holden, UT. Reported capacity is 4,000 MW. Joule Capital Partners held a groundbreaking (Nov 6, 2025) for its energy and AI data center campus on 4,000 acres in rural Millard County near Holden, approved by the Millard County Commission in August 2025. High-altitude siting is pitched for cooling efficiency; power was expected to start in 2026, with Caterpillar supplying G3520K generator sets and battery storage as part of a targeted ~4GW build-out. Distinct from the already-tracked Delta Gigasite (Fibernet MercuryDelta LLC/Creekstone Energy) and Creekstone's separate 'Creekstone Gigasite' project, both also in Millard County near Delta.
