Illinois DoIT Central Computing Facility

Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology plans Illinois DoIT Central Computing Facility, a data center in Springfield, IL. State of Illinois bought 9.4 acres in Springfield's Dirksen Business Park (2900 Dotmar) for an $80.5M Tier 3 replacement data center for DoIT, funded under the Rebuild Illinois capital program to replace the state's inefficient 1979-built 69,500 sq ft facility. Design firm Exp U.S. Services was picked in 2021-22; no confirmed construction-start or completion date found in current reporting, so status kept as planned.
