The project is sized at 5 MW. 24,000 sq ft cable landing station scalable to 5 MW hosting Amazon's Fastnet transatlantic subsea cable (Maryland to County Cork, Ireland, 320 Tbps, RFS 2028); Ocean City Council approved a 25-year ground lease in late 2025 and the facility targets ready-for-service Q3 2027. Worcester County adopted a data center/CLS moratorium in July 2026 and local groups have pushed back over fears the station will attract data centers; Cleanview and Compute Atlas track it as a proposed 5 MW facility.
