Construction is under way on Fluidstack Cameron County AI data center campus (Harlingen-Rio Hondo) in Cameron County, TX. The project is sized at 1,500 MW with an estimated investment of $4 billion. New York-based Fluidstack broke ground Sept 10, 2026 on the $4B first phase of a 1,100-acre closed-loop-cooled campus near Harlingen after Cameron County issued a worksite permit (no tax abatement).
