Dermody Properties Kramers Lane data center (Rubbertown, Louisville)
Louisville, Jefferson County, KY
Dermody Properties Kramers Lane data center (Rubbertown, Louisville), a data center project in Louisville, KY, has stalled. Real estate investment firm Dermody Properties filed in August 2026 to convert a newly built, vacant ~343,000 sq ft warehouse at 3615 Kramers Lane in Rubbertown (one mile from the PowerHouse/Poe campus) into a 'telecommunications hotel' data center, with loading docks repurposed for backup generators and a new power facility. Louisville Metro put the application on hold pending zoning review after Metro Council passed a six-month data center moratorium on Aug 13, 2026; the Planning Commission advanced rules in Sept 2026 to ban data centers over 500,000 sq ft and restrict them to M-1 zones. MW not disclosed. (Source dated 2026-08-12.).
