CyrusOne Dugway Proving Ground Data Center

Dugway, Tooele County, UT

CyrusOne Dugway Proving Ground Data Center is an announced data center project in Dugway, UT, backed by CyrusOne (US Army partnership). The U.S. Army conditionally selected Dugway Proving Ground in Tooele County to enter exclusive negotiations with CyrusOne (owned by funds managed by KKR and BlackRock) to build and operate a hyperscale computing campus across roughly 1,200 acres of Army land, intended to support AI, drone-swarm and next-generation command-and-control workloads with initial operating capability targeted for FY2029. Dugway is one of two installations (with Fort Bliss, TX) selected under this Army data-center initiative; as of reporting, no lease or construction contract had been signed. The Goshute Indian tribe has voiced opposition.
