Project Snow Goose / Project Milo (Crane Data Centers)
Hubbard, Trumbull County, OH
Progress has stalled on Project Snow Goose / Project Milo (Crane Data Centers), Crane Data Centers's data center project in Hubbard, OH. Reported capacity is 300 MW. Proposed 300MW data center campus ('Project Snow Goose', internally 'Project Milo') by San Francisco-based Crane Data Centers on the closed Deer Creek Golf Course, six parcels north of East Liberty Street, Hubbard, Trumbull County. Talks with the city (via JobsOhio regional partner Lake to River) began Dec 2024 under a 5-year NDA; a utility study of a 150MW initial phase was conducted. No formal proposal submitted as of mid-2026. Hubbard enacted a 12-month moratorium and residents passed a Nov 2026 ballot initiative to ban data centers after public backlash over the secrecy.
