AWS Westborough Data Center (600 & 800 Friberg Parkway)

Westborough, Worcester County, MA

AWS Westborough Data Center (600 & 800 Friberg Parkway) is an announced data center project in Westborough, MA, backed by Amazon Data Services Inc. Amazon Data Services bought 600 Friberg Pkwy (existing ~99,150 sq ft former State Street data center) and 800 Friberg Pkwy (greenfield 11 acres) for $11.6M in Nov 2022. A Worcester Business Journal follow-up (after Amazon opened a nearby delivery center) found State Street still operating at 600 Friberg, no ground broken at 800 Friberg, and no development plans filed with the Town of Westborough as of 2026; status remains proposed/land-banked. [Reviewed 2026-10-09: verified] Amazon purchased the properties in November 2022 and holds them with no filed development plans or ground-breaking as of 2026; remains proposed/land-banked.
