AWS Crossroads Technology Campus
AWS Crossroads Technology Campus is a planned data center in Spotsylvania County, VA, with Amazon Web Services named as the developer. 555-acre AWS campus in Spotsylvania's Lee Hill District; Planning Commission voted 4-2 on Sept 17, 2026 to recommend approval of a special-use permit (scaled back from 15 to 7 buildings, 63% open space). ~$8B investment per county estimate; still needs Board of Supervisors vote. May be part of AWS's broader I-95 corridor investment already tracked, but this is a specific, separately-named, separately-permitted site.
