AquaBounty Pioneer site data center (Kexon Drive)

Pioneer, Williams County, OH

Work on AquaBounty Pioneer site data center (Kexon Drive) in Pioneer, OH has stalled. Reported capacity is 20 MW. A developer told Pioneer village council in Sept 2026 he plans to buy AquaBounty's stalled fish-farm property on Kexon Drive, which has a 50 MW substation connection and a 5.25 MGD groundwater permit, to build a 20 MW data center (Bryan Times, Sept 11 2026); AquaBounty engaged Colliers to market the site for data center/power uses (Sept 15 2026). Council voted 6-0 on Sept 14, 2026 for a six-month data center moratorium to run electrical and other studies before any approval. (Source dated 2026-09-16.).
