Alpha Technologies Huntington Data Center

Construction is under way on Alpha Technologies Huntington Data Center in Huntington, WV. Alpha Technologies (South Carolina-based) is converting the former Appalachian Power building at 1125 6th Ave in downtown Huntington, Cabell County, into a 60,000 sq ft Tier III-quality data center, a $10M investment expected to create ~30 jobs. This is a distinct facility from Alpha's existing South Charleston (Kanawha County) data center; construction was slated to begin in late 2024/early 2025.
